TREASURE HUNTS: "New York, New York"

Do you like adventure? Do you recognize this picture? Have you enjoyed your first Treasure Hunt? Really? Then check out this one about New York. Click on this link and follow the treasure hunt. Write down your answers in a word and post them as comments. Then, in groups of 4, choose any city you like from around the world! Finally, create your own treasure hunt for the rest of your classmates. Come on! Show your favourite city to the class.

DIFFERENT ROLES IN EVERY GROUP:
Each one will have a different charge and responsability. There will be a:
SPEAKER: make sure every voice is heard, present the group’s work to the class and focus work around the learning task
WRITER: note down all the ideas and write on the board during the presentation.
MESSENGER: briefly leave the group to ask questions or to get supplies and announce when time is up.
RESEARCHER: get information surfing the Internet and check spelling, data, links, graphic sources for accuracy and correctness.

ALL GROUP MEMBERS SHOULD:

• Contribute to brainstorming ideas.
• Communicate your ideas openly.
• Listen to your team mates.
• Remember:
“ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR ALL!”

AT THE END OF THE ACTIVITY:
After preparing your own Treasure Hunts, you will become "Teachers"! Yes, you will have to punctuate your classmates work, following the accomplishment of these items:
1. Original Questions and an original Final Task.
2. Varied and Interesting links (not only Wikipedia...)
3. Well written (with no grammatical mistales).
4. Title and Introducion of the city.
5. Easy to find the Answers looking at the links.

ARE YOU READY? THEN LET'S START!!!
